Description
11 x 17 Original Hand Colored BODYCOUNT artwork – Signed by Kevin Eastman.
Featuring Raphael and Casey Jones, written and drawn by Kevin Eastman and Simon Bisley, BODYCOUNT is considered one of the most violent TMNT epics ever created – even Mirage Studios passed on publishing it, and it was originally released instead through Image in 1996.
These are the official hand-colored production guides by Mirage Studios staff artist Steve Lavigne, and used by AC Farley’s Altered Earth Arts to create the final digital artwork for the original and subsequent printings of the series and graphic novel.
The artwork was rendered on full 11″ x 17″ black and white photocopies scanned from the final original art. Please note that because these were hand-colored using watercolors, Dr Martin Dyes, and markers, the paper does reflects slight ripples and waves on the original art. This artwork is ideal for framing and hanging in a standard frame available in many stores.
Kevin has signed this page and a 2024 Hologram Label of Provenance is attached to the back of the page, providing you the proof that this Hand Colored and Signed Art is coming directly from Kevin’s personal collection.
Your art will be bagged and boarded and shipped flat.
About BODYCOUNT:
Legendary talents teamed up for a jaw-dropping action-romp starring the baddest dudes in the TMNT universe: Raphael and Casey Jones. It’s a must for grown-up Turtles fans and anyone nostalgic for the grim ‘n’ gritty days of 90s comics.
“Pure, unfiltered and unhindered Kevin Eastman.” — TMNT Entity
A grindhouse-style classic! Inspired by the magazine Heavy Metal and the films of John Woo, legendary talents Kevin Eastman and Simon Bisley present a much darker take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spinning a pulse-pounding yarn of over-the-top action and more than a bit of the old ultraviolence.
In gritty 1990s New York, our boys Raphael and Casey are swept up into an international murder/revenge/assassination plot, complete with gangsters, thugs, cops, cyborgs, machine guns, and (of course) hockey sticks.
