Because of his keen eyesight and sensitive hearing, Leonardo is extremely well-balanced, which makes him more skillful when wielding his ever-flashing katana blades. No matter how dangerous the situation, Leo doesn’t mind sticking his neck out. His primary objective in life: cut Shredder down to size!

From the Personal Collection of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This is one VERY RARE Find! Coming directly from Kevin and Peter, this Playmates figure is housed in an AFA Archival hard acrylic case, ideal for taking center place in your vintage TMNT Toy Collection.  The card back and blister pack remain intact and unpunched with an AFA Laird/Eastman Pedigree Grade of 85 Near Mint+ (C85 B85 F80)

This 1988 Leonardo was sent directly to Mirage Studios (Publishers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) by Playmates Toys.  It has been housed in the Personal Collections of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since then.

Given the provenance; straight from Playmates Toys to Mirage Studios and the collection of Peter and Kevin this super fun Leonardo  figure, with impeccable provenance is a great addition to any Vintage TMNT  Toy Collection.
