This low life came to power when he betrayed his Ninja master, Hamato Yoshi (now Splinter). Shredder wants nothing more than control of the world. And to get there, he’ll stop at nothing, even if it means grating his victims like cheese with his razor-sharp armor. The obstacles in his path are none other than the Turtles, and he means to destroy them. Shredder fights a never-ending battle against truth, justice, and the American way. Basically, he’s not a nice guy.

Coming directly from Kevin and Peter, this Playmates figure is housed in an AFA Archival hard acrylic case, ideal for taking center place in your vintage TMNT Toy Collection.  The card back and blister pack remain intact and unpunched with an AFA Laird/Eastman Pedigree Grade of 80+ Near Mint (C85 B80 F80)

This 1988 Shredder was sent directly to Mirage Studios (Publishers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) by Playmates Toys.  It has been housed in the Personal Collections of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since then.

Given the provenance; straight from Playmates Toys to Mirage Studios and the collection of Peter and Kevin this super fun Shredder Soft Head figure, with impeccable provenance is a great addition to any Vintage TMNT  Toy Collection.
