Rocksteady’s tough rhino body makes him a turtle-bashing powerhouse. His lack of smarts makes him dangerous. This mutant mammal is big trouble with his Retro-Mutogen Gun: one shot can level a whole building or a shelled turtle. Off-duty, Rocksteady loves to fry up a mess of juicy Turtle burgers for the whole hungry Foot clan. Rocksteady’s fieldglasses survey the area for anything that looks like a Turtle. (He’s mistakenly blasted six soccer balls). This G.I. rockhead blatantly displays his victory kills with the Turtle scalps he wears around his belt.

Coming directly from Kevin and Peter, this Playmates figure is housed in an AFA Archival hard acrylic case, ideal for taking center place in your vintage TMNT Toy Collection.  The card back and blister pack remain intact with an AFA Laird/Eastman Pedigree Grade of 75 EX+ Near Mint (C75 B75 F75)

This 1988 Rocksteady was sent directly to Mirage Studios (Publishers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) by Playmates Toys.  It has been housed in the Personal Collections of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since then.

Given the provenance; straight from Playmates Toys to Mirage Studios and the collection of Peter and Kevin this super fun Rocksteady Soft Head figure, with impeccable provenance is a great addition to any Vintage TMNT  Toy Collection.
