Raphael is the wittiest Turtle you’re likely to stumble over. If things aren’t going his way, his tongue snaps out sarcastic jokes dipped in poison. Even though he’s referred to as the snapping ninja, the Turtles know he means well. Raph’s clever skill with the deadly sai allows him to strike at a distance and really keep the Foot in stitches. His way with a manhole cover has made him famous in sewers everywhere. Raph uses the 100 pound discs to flatten the Foot and to shield off Anti-Turtle blasts.

Coming directly from Kevin and Peter, this Playmates figure is housed in an AFA Archival hard acrylic case, ideal for taking center place in your vintage TMNT Toy Collection.  The card back and blister pack remain intact and unpunched with an AFA Laird/Eastman Pedigree Grade of 80 Near Mint (C85 B75 F85)

This 1988 Raphael was sent directly to Mirage Studios (Publishers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) by Playmates Toys.  It has been housed in the Personal Collections of Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since then.

Given the provenance; straight from Playmates Toys to Mirage Studios and the collection of Peter and Kevin this super fun Raphael  figure, with impeccable provenance is a great addition to any Vintage TMNT  Toy Collection.
