You know that moment when you have a series deadline – and the first thing you think of is, I’m going to draw something else first! Well, that is a Deadline Distraction. Often – when I need to hit a very pressing deadline, I will pull a random art book out of the library – flip through it, get inspired, and do a little doodle as a warm up. My Deadline Distractions comprise some of my many art books, pulled at random – and some doodles that might have been inspired by them over the years.
