There have been a number of additional printings of the original #1 issue over the years, and the “Color Special” edition of TMNT #1 was a special 25th anniversary printing where Mirage published this key book in full color for the first time ever. Long-time Mirage Studios colorist Steve Lavigne returned, to add his blazing hues to this classic tale of love and revenge by Eastman and Laird! The coloring throughout is by Steve Lavigne and the cover is by Peter Laird and Steve.

This is the CORRECTED Printing. The initial printing had a black dot pattern in the margins of some interior pages and a heavier font on the inside front cover, making the text harder to read.
